Our Solution Story
Crossland Community Church is a thriving congregation based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Its “come as you are” contemporary services are held at the main campus and simulcast to its other two campuses.
Crossland and dB Integrations have had a long and fruitful partnership, with several collaborations since 2013. We partnered with the church once more to deliver a flexible, modern solution to create a captivating worship experience for their services.

Crossland rented an LED video wall for its Easter 2019 services, with great success. The reaction from the congregation was so positive that church leaders reached out to dB Integrations for a permanent integration of this technology into their video system.

To provide Crossland with a flexible solution, the dB team installed a Planar VVR Series LED Video Wall with an outboard processor. This ensures that the wall can adapt to Crossland’s content adjustments—displaying lyrics, integrated moving graphics, or video footage.
According to dB’s Director of Sales & Marketing Ronnie Stanford, “The Planar VVR Series is designed for the rental and staging market, but we saw its features as well-suited for supporting what the church wants to do.”
The technology’s versatility is truly impressive. Says Stanford, “The church can decrease the height of the video wall and stretch it across the stage. Or they can split the video wall up into more than one installation—such as a main video wall in the middle and two smaller ones flanking it to either side.” Reconfiguring the video wall is a straightforward process for simple and smooth layout changes.
The video wall, which replaced a long-used projector system, has awed congregants across all age groups. It has strengthened Crossland’s set design, messaging impact, and music presentation. In the words of Senior Pastor Gregg Farrell, “We learned there is a huge difference between projecting light and reflecting it. The new video wall is overwhelmingly dramatic.”

Recap
From tailoring designs for specific series to serving as a teaching tool for sermons, the new LED video wall has elevated Crossland Community Church’s services in terms of both creative capabilities and congregational experience.
“Our presentation is now far more compelling,” said Pastor Farrell. “The video wall has enhanced our worship experience as well as the broadcast experience at our other campuses. We haven’t yet scratched the surface in terms of the video wall’s potential, and we are already blown away with what we can do.”
