Control
We placed a control touch screen at the stage manager’s rack backstage, from which an instructor can prep the room for a presentation or lecture. From this screen one can turn microphones on and off, adjust volume, move the screen up and down, turn the projector on and off, and select video inputs to the projector.
Video inputs are located next to the stage manager’s station, with extension cables so that a professor can have her laptop at the lectern and supply video input from the laptop to the projection screen. A second control panel at the media manager’s station upstairs offers additional control of the video and audio systems.
